1. Add your SMTP/IMAP credentials

Go to your inbox settings. This screen is divided into an IMAP section (receiving emails) and SMTP section (sending emails).

For each protocol the following is needed:

• address
• user name
• password

Refer to your email provider on where to find these credentials. Keep in mind that most modern email providers allow you to set up one-time or app passwords. These passwords are specific per app and is highly recommended! Even more so most email providers won’t allow you to use your account’s password except for logging in to their webmail.

Note that your credentials are stored encrypted at rest.
